Chancery and Commercial

Members of the Chancery & Commercial practice group cover a broad and diverse range of disputes; we are highly experienced; able to assist  with both non contentious and contentious issues and able confidently to advise at all stages; from initial tactics through to drafting and representation at mediation or trial.

The team draws its strength from the wide-ranging expertise of its members that ranges from our senior members who sit as mediators through to our most junior tenant. This strength and depth allows us to offer the most appropriate barrister with the most relevant experience at every level.

Members of the team appear in all courts and tribunals from the local county courts and district registries through to the Chancery and Queen’s Bench Divisions, as well as the Technology and Construction Court, Commercial Court, Mercantile Courts and on appeal.

Members of Chambers are experienced trial advocates, who regularly represent clients at mediations, adjudications and arbitrations. We have two trained mediators. The team is quick to identify the issues; dedicated to pursuing the best outcome for a client; and sensitive to the business needs of corporate clients and the personal needs of private individuals.

Chambers offers commercial and private clients a comprehensive service: able to listen, respond and provide tactical advice. We are dedicated to our clients with our key objective being to work together alongside both solicitors, professional and lay clients in order to achieve the best result.  The team is sensitive to the business needs of its corporate clients and to the personal needs of individuals.

In the more complex chancery and commercial disputes, Chambers is able to offer barristers with particular knowledge of and expertise on a range of employment, immigration and property matters. We provide a full service in respect of dispute resolution.

Chambers are accredited by the Bar Council as course providers and members of chambers provide in house seminars, training and presentations, whether in house at the clients’ premises or here in chambers. For further information regarding our lectures please visit our seminars page
