Amelia has a busy practice that spans all areas of Family Law with a specialism in private client matters including private law children (Child Arrangement Orders, Prohibited Steps and Specific Issue Orders), financial remedies and cases involving domestic abuse.
Amelia was called to the Bar in 2016 after obtaining a ‘Very Competent’ grade on the BPTC which she studied on a part-time basis whilst working full-time as a Paralegal in a Hampshire law firm.
Amelia is an experienced advocate having practised as a County Court Advocate prior to obtaining pupillage where she attended courts on the Western Circuit for a variety of hearings including mortgage repossessions, infant settlements, Consumer Credit Act disputes and general applications.
Amelia has been praised for her professionalism, client care and quality of work which has led to her receiving repeat instructions.

Amelia has a busy private law practice and regularly accepts instructions on behalf of both applicants and respondents. She is experienced in all private law children matters including applications for Child Arrangements Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders, Specific Issue Orders, enforcement applications, applications for change of names and cases involving removal from the jurisdiction. She represents both applicants and respondents at fact finding hearings involving significant allegations of domestic abuse.
Amelia accepts instructions at all stages of disputes from initial hearings through to contested final hearings as well as fact finding hearings, appeals, short notice and urgent applications.
Amelia frequently represents both applicants and respondents who are involved in Family Law Act 1996 proceedings. She has extensive experience in applications for non-molestation orders and occupation orders, from without notice hearings through to final hearing, including where those applications are linked to Children Act 1989 proceedings.
Amelia is also a registered Qualified Legal Representative (“QLR”) meaning she is on the Court List to be appointed by the Court to undertake cross-examination work in family proceedings. Please click here for more information on Amelia's role as a QLR.
