From our most senior member who sits as a mediator, through to our junior member we have vast experience, expertise and knowledge in all aspects of matrimonial finance. This ensures that we are able to match our clients to the most suitable barrister. Members of Chambers regularly appear in the County Court, High Court and Appellate Courts.
Our work includes separations, transfers of tenancy, contested divorces, TOLATA disputes, civil partnership breakdowns, Inheritance Act claims and applications under the provisions of Schedule 1 of the Children Act.
The team regularly advises in high net worth cases, often involving multi-million pound claims and pension sharing. We have expertise in dealing with cases involving partnerships, companies, complex business structures, inherited wealth farms, offshore assets and trusts. We also undertake cases involving smaller net worth cases, which can often be the most challenging to divide.
We recognise that family proceedings can be difficult both financially and emotionally. The team are committed to working together with lay and professional clients to achieve the best possible result. We provide clear, tactical and pragmatic advice whilst dealing with cases sensitively and tactfully.
Members of Chambers are well equipped to deal with dispute resolution whether through negotiation or mediation and we can offer two qualified mediators.
With a wealth of experience in both family finance and children matters, we can offer continuity of service allowing the clients to retain the same counsel in both finance and children litigation.
Chambers are accredited by the Bar Council as course providers and members of chambers provide in house seminars, training and presentations, whether in house at the client’s premises or here in chambers. For further information regarding our lectures please visit our seminars page
